About Chuck Ryor

Chuck RyorChuck Ryor is the organizing and Teaching Pastor of Prism Church of Los Angeles, located in Pasadena, California.  He’s also an Adjunct Professor of Preaching at Eternity Bible College in Simi Valley, California.

Chuck has served for nearly two decades in student ministry and church planting, most of that in one of America’s quintessential college towns, Tallahassee, Florida.  Chuck’s experience and passion to encourage and challenge students is what led to the writing of Three Tips for Campus Survival.  It’s also what motivates him to travel the country and speak to students.

Educated at Florida State University, Reformed Theological Seminary and West Virginia University, Chuck worked as a disc-jockey and radio sportscaster before going into full-time ministry. He has previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Providence Christian College.

Chuck is a graduate of The Bobbie Oliver Stand-Up Academy and performs his comedy act at the world famous Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena.  He and his wife, Carolyn, have two children and live near Pasadena, California.
